Roundup of results on Lie groups, Lie algebras and their representations

Room: Stasi
Speaker: Stefano Bacchi (PhD student, University of Trieste)
A list of basic arguments, frequently used and very useful in physics, about Lie groups will be given. In particular definitions of projective unitary and unitary representations, central extension and universal covering will be explained together with examples of groups often utilized in physics (SO(3), Galilean group, Heisenberg group).
