How to generate squeezing in optomechanical systems

Squeezing can be an important resource for enhancing the precision in position measurements with optomechanical systems. In this talk, I will show a possible way to generate entanglement in an optomechanical system, which can lead to a position spread smaller than the ground state one also in the presence of an external thermal environment.
