Gravitational Decoherence: a general non relativistic model

Abstract:
In this talk I will present a non relativistic model for gravitational decoherence of scalar bosonic particles. I will discuss the preferred basis and characteristic rates for the phenomenon in relevant regimes of approximation. I will show how such a novel model is able to recover the results already present in the literature by taking the appropriate limits, thus explaining the apparent contradictions of their dynamical predictions.
